Avora Aviation Appointed Exclusive Tecnam Dealer for the Balkans
SOFIA, Bulgaria & CAPUA, Italy — July 1, 2026 — Avora Aviation has been appointed the exclusive official dealer for Tecnam across the Balkan region, representing the brand in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia. The partnership marks a significant expansion of Avora into general aviation, bringing Tecnam's industry-leading aircraft to regional flight schools, private owners, and commercial operators.
Founded in 1948, Tecnam is one of the world's most respected general aviation manufacturers, with a reputation built on quality engineering, efficiency and reliability. Under the new agreement, Avora will represent Tecnam's full range across the ultralight, VLA and CS-23 categories — including the P92 Echo MKII, P2002 Sierra MKII, P2008JC NG, P-Mentor, the P2010 series, and the twin-engine P2006T NG.
Making a modern fleet a realistic proposition
One of the key services Avora will provide is financing solutions - addressing the single biggest barrier to fleet renewal for flight schools: the upfront cost of acquiring modern aircraft. To this end, Avora will develop a dedicated leasing product built around the Tecnam range — pairing trusted, training-proven aircraft with flexible financing so training organisations across the Balkans can operate new, efficient aircraft without the burden of outright purchase.
Avora has already ordered seven Tecnam aircraft, which will form part of its asset portfolio and provide efficient availability bridging solutions for future Tecnam operators in the region.
Avora's strength lies in its established operations across the aviation value chain, including Fly2Sky, a European AOC-holding ACMI and charter airline operating an Airbus A320 family fleet, and MX Technic, the Group's EASA Part-145 maintenance organisation.
"Being appointed Tecnam's dealer for the Balkans is a significant step in broadening Avora's reach beyond commercial leasing and trading into general aviation," said Alim Lakhiyalov, CEO of Avora Aviation. "The single biggest barrier to fleet renewal for flight schools is the upfront cost of modern aircraft. To address this, we will develop a dedicated leasing product around the Tecnam range - pairing trusted aircraft with flexible financing so training organisations across the region can renew their fleets without the burden of outright purchase."
"We are thrilled to welcome Avora Aviation to the Tecnam family as our official dealer for the Balkan region," said Giovanni Pascale Langer, Managing Director at Tecnam. "Their innovative approach to aircraft leasing, combined with their vertically integrated aviation group, makes them an ideal partner. Together, we look forward to expanding the presence of Tecnam's modern, efficient, and safe fleet across the region."
